Sacred traditions throughout time have preached the benefits of morning practices. There are physical, mental, and social benefits from having a regular spiritual practice. My Personal Experience (like so many others!):
Raising four small children wasn’t easy. Not only was it a lot of work, but often I felt lonely and sad without family nearby to help out. I was lacking a good support system and some much needed positive encouragement. Joining a women’s circle helped, but I was longing for something more. One day I started getting up before my kids to spend time alone in prayer. I came to realize that starting my day like this offered me a stronger mindset and a more positive outlook on life. I was amazed that during this time spent caring for myself the positive affects started spilling over into the rest of my day. It started to change my life for the better.
People often ask me, “what is your morning practice like?” or “I have no idea where to start or I don’t have the time!”
Here’s what I have found: We make time for the things that are important to us—my wellbeing is important to me, so I make time to nurture my spirit in ways that nothing else can. When I spend time with myself, everything shifts and I become a better mom, friend, and wife. Conscious work helps direct my focus on the things right in front of me. I no longer long for a better life or get stuck thinking about the past or dreaming of the future. My life is being lived now—in the only moment I have—the present.

You do not need to know what you are doing in order to begin. You just begin.
here’s how:
Every morning you will get an email from me with an audio recording with a guided prayer. These recordings are from my own home and I will share with you my typical morning practice. I will guide you through a variety of different types of prayers and then share my wisdom and thoughts to enhance your experience.
During the introduction, I will offer simple suggestions for creating your own prayer space in your home.
You will get a Meredith’s Jars of Joy quote for the day! The idea is to take these wise words from great thinkers and carry them throughout your day! Tape them up on your walls or share with a friend.
Included in your daily email are the prayers and books discussed so you can have them to go back to when you are done your 21 days.
