Meredith’s Jars of Joy
Our company started when Meredith was beginning high school almost seven years ago. Instead of feeling like the joyful girl she is, she found herself in the midst of a really emotional time. Pam, the mamma of the duo, responded to this by putting a bowl of quotes on Meredith's desk and asking her to pick one from it every morning. After a few weeks, Meredith's bedroom walls were covered in the tiny slips of paper, and her pockets were constantly filled with them too. By the end of the school year, Meredith began to share her positive experience with friends and classmates, suddenly discovering a common need for comfort and joy in other people too.
And we haven't stopped creating joy since.
Together, Pam and Meredith believe in the power of words--and specifically the ability of words to change lives. When you buy a Jar of Joy, you give that very gift.
