ABOUT: Spiritual Grief Coach Nikki Elliott

Nikki’s son Leif died suddenly in 2016 at the age of 16. The shattering had come and she died that day too. She starved her body, refused to shower, and barely functioned for months. Plagued with thoughts of taking her own life and the life of her daughter so they could join him. She slowly realized she had to find a way to survive. She vowed to find him. Find healing. And pave a path to survival.

What she called the shattering in those early years she now lovingly refers to as their re-birthday. Eluding to the experience that the day Leif died he simply left his physical body and rose into the fullness of his spirit. Something he slowly and gently led her to embrace and surrender to, not only with him but in herself as well.

As he guided her through her healing journey, often loud in spirit and extremely present, Leif continually dropped healing resources in nikki’s lap. Classes that she couldn't afford, modalities that were out of reach. And because of those gifts, she vowed to pay that forward should she ever feel whole again.

Using her background as a behaviorist Nikki used her earthly knowledge regarding trauma response and behavior to her advantage. She came at the grief beast from 2 directions. The first dealing with the layers and levels of the actual grief, the second coming at it from an ever-growing spiritual perspective. And it proved fruitful in healing.

NONPROFIT WARRIOR PARENTS UNITED

Nikki co-founded the organization Warrior Parents United, a 501c3 nonprofit that raises monies for families who can't afford healing or financial costs associated with grief and child loss.

In addition to that, she co-founded Healing warrior parents on Facebook. Different from a grief support group, this group focuses on the post-traumatic growth that can be achieved and the spiritual awakening that unfolds alongside it. Its basis is hope. And it specifically builds and nurtures a spirit to spirit relationship between surviving parents and their children who have died. As a spiritual grief coach Nikki dedicates much time within the group coaching and offering tools and shifts for healing. She also does private coaching detailed specifically to where an individual parent is on their journey. Nikki offers healing classes online as well. Always making sure to also donate seats and sessions for those who find themselves in dire financial stress that prohibits access to healing tools.

Grief no longer co-exists with her joy. She loves her life and describes her relationship with Leif as one of fullness that is no longer restricted by the physical plane. She lives loud in her truth with her son by her side as they continue to pass healing onto her surviving daughter Omri and to parents across the world. Nikki now not merely survives, but thrives.  And lights a way to hope out of the darkest hell on earth.

“There is hope.
There is healing.
I promise.
Just reach out.
You don’t walk alone.
I will be honored to light the path for you.”
